Technical Expertise

 1.   I have training course on DNA vaccines preparation.  DNA that codes for specific proteins (antigens) from EBV. The DNA is injected into the animal lab (Mice). and taken up by cells, that synthesize a  proteins based on the genetic code in the plasmid that they have administrated .

2.   Optia Apheresis System for convalescent plasma to treat COVID-19 patients

3.   ELISA technique

4.   Trainer on stem cell processing.

5.   Topical, oral gavage, subcutaneous, intraperitoneal and intravenous route of administration of drug in experimental animals. Collection of blood from tail vein, eyes (venous pool) in the experimental animals.

6.   3.Western blots, Immunohistochemistry, various histological staining techniques, enzyme assays, PCR, SDS-PAGE, cell culture techniques, siRNA and plasmid transfection.

7.   Computer skills Microsoft office package, SPSS- Statistical software, End-note and basic informatics tools.

Am interested in

1.   Development of an animal model and accelerated development of a DNA vaccine for SARS-CoV-2
2.   immune therapy for COVID-19
3.   Use of Stem cells isolated from umbilical cord in treatment of HIV. Possible role of stem cells derived from umbilical cord in inducing immunomodulation in infected cells with HIV that could change latency period through different immunological markers and change in protein expression of cells. Stems cells may play crucial activity in HIV propagation and mediate latency reactivation which may be beneficial as line of therapy.

Special Activities:

  1. Adoption many international conferences and meetings about COVID-19 education
